INDEPENDENT TESTING
The Down Association of Canada uses an independent, third party laboratory for all testing to ensure complete objectivity.
The International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) is located in Salt Lake City in Utah. It is used by the Canadian Government, US Government and many others. Results from this lab are considered so reliable that they can be used in a court of law.
When an article is tested under the Down√Check program, and it proves to be falsely labelled according to IDFL testing, the results are then posted on the DOWNMARK® website.
