March is Fraud Prevention Month at the Competition Bureau of Canada. Every year they ask consumers to remember the 3 R’s when you are shopping:

We use the 3 R’s to monitor the world marketplace and help consumers spot down and feather products that are for sale and not what they appear to be. We report what we find to the Competition Bureau using their online form to alert them of a misleading product.
It is important that consumers know that anyone can report an item they purchase in the marketplace today that doesn’t seem to be the right thing that is advertised or doesn’t perform as promised when you get it home. Let’s work together!
